September 22nd marks World Rhino Day and so, for the second year running, we celebrate Thuza and Kusasa, the first community rhino at Ngamo Sanctuary. Over the last 16 months, they’ve grown accustomed to their new habitat and have become frequent visitors of Imvelo Safari Lodges’ Camelthorn Lodge, to the delight of guests staying there! These guests contribute to local community development through the Community Rhino Conservation levy and their visits are hugely appreciated. So here’s to them today, and to the guests that travel from all over the world to come and spend some time with them!
